On the radio show today I talked about a new video game called “Active Shooter” which simulates mass shootings, including school shootings, allowing players to participate from the perspective of law enforcement and the shooter.

It’s controversial, distasteful I’d say, but should the game be banned? And do video games really contribute to a culture of violence? I say no on both counts.

Also columnist Mike Jacobs joined me to discuss news that Senator Heidi Heitkamp is losing support in Native American communities, and I discussed ABC cancelling Roseanne.
