A couple of weeks back I launched a sort of soft paywall here on SAB. I’m sure you’ve noticed. It’s not something that will ever stop you from reading the posts here, but it will consistently nag you for a little financial support for the blog you’re reading.

So far quite a few of you have signed up for a subscription, and I thank you for that. If you haven’t already, please consider doing so. There was a cap on subscriptions for the first few days of the paywall (I jumped the gun a bit and launched it before my account was fully approved) but that’s all clear now. If you want to help out, just follow the instructions on the popup.

If you don’t see the popup, click the page view counter in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.

There are basically two options. You can make a one-time payment to make the popups go away, or you can buy a monthly subscription. The minimum for the first is $10 per month, the latter is $7.50 per month. On either option you can choose to pay more if you wish.

Again, thank you for your support. This is SAB’s 12th year in existence, and for me it’s a labor of love. I’d like to keep doing it for another dozen years and more, and your support helps me do that.
