Plain Talk: Senator Cramer Says Controversy Over Mueller Report Is a Moot Point Since It’s Set to Be Released Anyway

Senator-elect Kevin Cramer is The Forum's 2018 Person of the Year. David Samson / The Forum

On this episode of Plain Talk, Senator Kevin Cramer takes questions on logging regulations in the trucking industry, the border wall, and whether or not President Trump’s proposed space force could protect us from the “god of chaos.”

He also addresses controversy over a letter special prosecutor Robert Mueller sent to Attorney General William Barr which Democrats have seized on as evidence that Barr wasn’t being honest about Mueller’s report on Russian collusion and possible Trump administration obstruction. Cramer says the issue is a moot point since Barr will be releasing the entire Mueller report anyway, and Mueller himself is certainly free to speak publicly if he has any problems with what Barr is doing.
