ND Insurance Commissioner To Discuss Obamacare With The President Today

adam hamm

North Dakota Insurance Commissioner and NAIC President Adam Hamm will  discuss 2015 health insurance market and enrollment issues under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) with President Obama, U.S. Health and Human Services officials and other staff in Washington, D.C.  on Thursday, April 17.”

That’s what I just got in a press release from Hamm’s office this morning. The NAIC is the National Association of Insurance Commissioners which, as the release states, Hamm is the President of.

Hamm, a Republican, has been a sharp critic of Obamacare and has worked to keep a spotlight on the law here in North Dakota.

As reporters, nationally, have struggled to determine how many Obamacare enrollees have actually effectuated their policies, Hamm has made that data available to legislators and the public.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of the meeting.
