Unemployment going down? Not if you’re young

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — While the headlines loudly proclaim the nation’s jobless rate is falling, the headline for young workers seems to “but not for you.”

The youth unemployment rate, for workers between 19 and 29 years old, is 14.5 percent, according to the latest report from Generation Opportunity. As Cory Whalen with the group tells Benjamin Yount on Watchdog Radio, the headlines will only get worse if the minimum wage is raised and new, tougher regulations are hammered down on the sharing economy,
