Still trailing in those early vote totals, GOP Congressman Lee Terry is counting on a strong Tuesday turnout in order to keep his wobbly seat.

At the same time Democrat Brad Ashford, who has managed to fight Terry ad for ad on TV and make this race too close to call, is confident the drop in Democratic voters seen in non-presidential years won’t be as severe this time around.

KMTV, Omaha has asked Nebraska Watchdog’s Joe Jordan to weigh in on the Omaha House race. It’s one of only a handful of house races in the country going right down to the wire.

Joe can be heard on Omaha’s KFAB radio every Monday morning at 7:40, KLIN in Lincoln every Tuesday morning at 7:35 and KHAS-AM in Hastings every Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
