Teachers union dismisses senator’s alleged plagiarism

Plagiarism is the most ancient form of defaulting on a student loan.

HE’S GOT FRIENDS: Montana’s teachers union is supporting U.S. Sen John Walsh.

Eric Fever, president of the Montana Education Association-Montana Federation of Teachers, is defending U.S. Sen. John Walsh, D-Mont., amid the political fallout from recent allegations of plagiarism.

MEA-MFT claims it is the largest labor union in the state of Montana, boasting 18,000 members, including state, county, and municipal employees, public school teachers and staff, faculty in higher education, health care workers, and more.

Given the audience to which Fever has access, his defense of Walsh is no small matter.
