For the last few days Omaha voters have been served a steady diet of TV ads claiming Democratic Congressional hopeful Brad Ashford is either coddling criminals or protecting the public.

But one of the two commercials comes with an edge.

So who has the upper hand, Ashford or 8-term incumbent Republican Lee Terry?
