At least one top Nebraska Republican privately tells Nebraska Watchdog that when it comes to keeping Tea Partyer Chip Maxwell off the November ballot he hasn’t given up.

What’s the strategy?

Nothing real complicated: Convince Maxwell that a third-party run for Congress is a bad idea.

With the race now considered a toss-up by some, KMTV has asked Nebraska Watchdog’s Joe Jordan to weigh in, beginning with Congressman Lee Terry’s less than stellar win in this month’s Republican primary.
