According to a joint press release (see below) from the Sioux County Sheriff’s Department and the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association there was another dead horse found near the #NoDAPL protest camps in south central North Dakota.
“It was killed in the same pasture where, earlier this week, two cows were shot and injured and, over the past couple of weeks, five other animals were killed and 30 others went missing,” the press release states.
It was worth approximately $3,000, and “a registered blue roan mare of the noted Hancock breeding,” per the release.
