Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger's Car Involved In A Rollover

A reliable source tells me that Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger’s car was involved in a rollover in the Bismarck area this afternoon.

Apparently Rauschenberger was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash. I’m not certain who was driving, or what caused the crash.

A local radio station – 96.5 FM The Fox – has photos and a report about the accident, though they don’t identify the car as belonging to Rauschenberger:

At around 3pm today, a gold Chevy Tahoe veered off the road, rolling over next to the northbound lanes of the Mandan Strip
Details on the cause of the crash are sketchy. As we arrived on the scene, an ambulance was driving off without it’s lights on. There were still 5 police cars on the scene directing traffic down to just 2 lanes, and the Fire Department was on the scene.

As you can see in the photos of the rollover, the car has a Jack Dalrymple campaign sticker as well as a Ryan Rauschenberger campaign sticker.

Rauschenberger was appointed as North Dakota’s Tax Commissioner by Dalrymple and is running to keep the job this November against Democrat Jason Astrup.

I’ve put in a call to Rauschenberger this evening and left a voicemail, but my sources say they are 100 percent certain that it was his car involved in the rollover.
