I’m happy to announce that SAB has been nominated for a Blog Bash award.

It’s a relatively new thing. From their website:

Started in 2010, Blog Bash is the largest gathering of right-of-center bloggers at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. The event was started in 2010 by bloggers for other bloggers attending the conference and has become the premiere after-hours event during the annual conference week.

SAB is nominated for the “Best Sunlight Post of 2014” for my work breaking the news about Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger’s struggles with alcohol last year.

It feels a little weird to be up for an award for writing about someone else’s misfortune, but I guess that comes with the territory.

The final selections will be made later this month during CPAC. With the state legislature in session I won’t be able to attend, but I’m happy and honored just to be recognized.
