My print column today addresses the hyperbolic response Democrats have launched at tax reform legislation which has now passed the House and Senate and is in the process of being reconciled into a final bill for President Donald Trump’s signature.
“There is plenty of room for honest criticism of Republican tax reform,” I wrote. “It’s too bad that Democrats seem largely incapable of it.”
To further illustrate my point, consider this montage of angry gibberish from Democratic members of Congress:
Democrats are comparing the tax bill to rape.
To the death penalty.
One left wing commentator is suggesting that the tax bill will literally kill people.
Because obviously those are fair and level-headed criticisms, right?
