Chris Berg is out at Valley News Live over vaccine mandate controversy

MINOT, N.D. — Earlier this week we learned that there was some friction between conservative television host Chris Berg and his employers at Fargo-based television station Valley News Live.

Gray Television owns Valley News Live. They’ve issued a vaccine mandate for their employees. Berg, reportedly, didn’t like the mandate.

This morning, the news is that Berg is out.

I called Ike Walker, who is the general manager of Valley News Live, to confirm if Berg’s relationship with the station had ended.

“We don’t comment on stuff like that,” Walker told me, angrily. He hung up before I could ask a follow-up question.

Berg, however, did confirm his departure to me.
