Plain Talk: Senator Cramer Sees “Pervasive Antisemitism” Among Democrats, Says Tax Cuts Didn’t Cause Budget Deficits

On this episode of Plain Talk, Senator Kevin Cramer decried what he sees as “pervasive antisemitism in the Democratic party.”

Though questioned on that characterization, he backed off it a bit. “Maybe ‘pervasive’ is the wrong word for it, but the Democratic party leadership is becoming far too comfortable with it,” he said.

His comments come amid controversy over Israel denying entry to two Democratic members of Congress who are Muslim and have been critical of the Jewish state.

Cramer also addressed President Donald Trump’s interest in purchasing Greenland. “I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about his thoughts on buying Greenland,” Cramer said. “I spend my time on practical…policies.”

The Senator also took questions on the economy and the national debt. He denied the assertion by one listener that the Trump tax cuts have contributed to budget deficits. “They deficits are not caused by the cuts,” he said. He says they’re caused by spending.
