“I can’t tell you how much time we’ve wasted on this.”

That’s what Congressman Kelly Armstrong had to say of the latest push from Democrats to impeach President Donald Trump. He said the current controversy, with accusations that Trump pursued an untoward arrangement with the leader of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, was “a situation where everything moves faster than the evidence.”

He also said the national press corps “pushes things farther than they go.”

Armstrong said he has read the transcript of Trump’s call to Ukraine, as well as the whistleblower’s report, and noted stark differences between what was actually said on the call and how the whistleblower portrayed it. They were “very, very different” Armstrong says.
